SCAN COIN Chooses Jeeves for Increased Productivity

"With Jeeves, we anticipate significant opportunities for improved productivity. In this expansion phase that SCAN COIN is in, we need an ERP system that is both flexible and upgradable," said Kjell Andersson, President of SCAN COIN Industries AB.

SCAN COIN was founded in 1966 and is now a leading supplier of cash processing equipment, system solutions and services. The company is currently represented in over 100 countries via own market companies or distributors.

Jeeves will be primarily implemented in SCAN COIN's Swedish operations.

"It will be exciting to follow SCAN COIN out into the world. The ERP system is the heart of the customers' business. Continual development of the business requires an ERP system that is flexible, easy to upgrade and cost effective," said Lars Dahlberg, Sales Manager at Jeeves.

The deal was struck by Jeeves' partner, InfoCube.

"SCAN COIN needs a flexible ERP system like Jeeves for its continued expansion - a system that can be continually upgraded to generate administrative efficiency and a competitive edge. This is Jeeves' strength over its competitors," said Jonas Hammarberg, Marketing and Sales Director at InfoCube.

Many companies fail to upgrade their ERP systems, which leads to lost productivity and reduced profits. This conclusion was reached in a study conducted by Radar Group International during February and March of 2007 via in-depth interviews at 253 Swedish companies and organizations who have had their ERP systems since the start of the new millennium.

The study, which compares the ERP systems IBS ASW, IFS, Jeeves, Movex (Lawson, formerly Intentia) and SAP, shows that upgrade cost is usually up to EUR 5,000 per workplace. This is the primary reason that companies fail to upgrade their ERP system. The exception is Jeeves, where the equivalent costs is about EUR 200. According to the study, because of this Jeeves' customers update their ERP systems more often than the customers of other suppliers.

"InfoCube has solid experience in implementing Jeeves nationally and internationally at the customers and stands for quality and longevity," said Lars Dahlberg, Sales Manager at Jeeves.
