JDS (Jeeves Diagnostic Services) is a packaged solution * from Jeeves with the aim of minimizing operational and performance problems. With the solution, you can work more proactively and get a better overview of the steps that need to be taken to improve the user experience in Jeeves ERP and surrounding modules.

With this solution you get a service that monitors and analyzes resources with focus on relevant information for Jeeves ERP, i.e. SQL- and application-server.

With the web-based user interface, you can see real-time data from your resources using the pre-defined dashboards and analyze trends for key metrics. You can configure resources and alerts. Examples of alerts could be that memory or CPU is running high etc.

The alert manager will monitor resources for any issues and sends out an e-mail if thresholds are meet. The email will contain details about the issue and suggestive actions or other help.

Also included is a scheduled service that tracks any changes in Jeeves database, uploading to a server - allowing you to see detailed changes between two dates.

Once a month our technician will perform a health check and update JDS.

JDS consists of:

  1. Data collection installed on each resource to collect information and alerts
  2. User interface Visualize and analyze collected data, configure resources, and alert rules
  3. Alerts Service that monitors and sends out alerts via e-mail with details and help text
  4. Database changes Tracks database changes, helps find the root cause of an issue
  5. Health check Technician performs a monthly health check and any new updates.

Data collection

Installed per resource and gathers data and handles alerts.

User Interface

A web-based user interface for visualization of collected data. See real-time information via pre-defined dashboards, or control resources and alerts.

Alert Manager

Monitors resources and sends out an e-mail if any alerts occur.
Example of alerts could be that a resource is non-responsive, CPU levels are high or that disk space is running out.

Track database changes

Changes in Jeeves database is tracked and synced daily to a Jeeves cloud server.
This makes it possible to see and compare changes over time using Tortoise SVN.
I.e. Finding the root cause, who changed or did what.

Health Check

Performed once a month by one of our technicians, includes any upgrades of JDS.
