Swegon Chooses Jeeves ERP for its International Operations
Swegon has purchased a groupwide license for Jeeves ERP. The intention is to eventually establish a common ERP system in all 17 of the group’s subsidiaries. First up are the Norwegian operations, for which Swegon and Jeeves’ Swedish partner, SYSteam, are creating a prototype, a “common model” to serve as the basis for a potential roll-out to other subsidiaries in the group in the future.“Our goal is ‘one ERP system for all subsidiaries,’ which will lay a foundation for uniform procedures. To do that, we wanted to find a flexible ERP system with a robust user interface,” said Per Joelsson, IT Director at Swegon. “Jeeves is simple to adapt to our needs and upgrade to new versions. Our salespeople will gain access to an intuitive ERP system in which they can easily find the information they need.”“A growing number of international groups are choosing Jeeves. With its immense flexibility and low cost of ownership, customers see major benefits in designating Jeeves as a standard application for expanding and streamlining operational management in their subsidiaries,” said Bo Oskarsson, SYSteam’s Product/Marketing Director for Jeeves.Swegon has a presence in 18 countries and sales of SEK 2,000 million. This transaction was completed in June and included in the earnings reported for the second quarter of 2010.For more information:Per Joelsson, IT Director, Swegon+46-512-782-404, per.joelsson@swegon.se, www.swegon.seBo Oskarsson, Jeeves Product/Marketing Director, SYSteamPhone +46-31-779-4970, bo.oskarsson@systeam.se, www.evry.comAbout Jeeves Jeeves Information Systems AB develops Sweden’s most popular ERP system*.
