Jeeves Strengthens Its Fashion Portfolio

admin June 2011

Jeeves' acquisition of IMDA brings Jeeves the three-employee firm and its PISA product, which is a modern PDM system used by over twenty fashion and design firms with well-known brands such as Nudie Jeans and Eton Fashion. PISA integrates with several ERP systems.

“Fashion is a growth area for Jeeves where we already have around 130 customers. Our acquisition of IMDA is part of our strategy to augment our offering to customers in the fashion, sports, shoe and textile industries,” said Jeeves CEO Bengt-Åke Älgevik.

Pisa will continue to be sold as a standalone product, but it will be integrated into Jeeves' technical architecture as well.

“For IMDA, this transaction means that we are becoming part of a larger organization with the additional capabilities and resources to support our customers throughout the entire flow from design/sketch to finished product,” said IMDA CEO Ingela Cronholm-Edgren.

The acquisition will be completed on July 1 2011. It is expected to have a marginal positive effect on Jeeves’ 2011 earnings per share.
