Inventory Management

The Jeeves Inventory Management feature set helps you manage inventory processes, from costing and control to counting and planning. The system’s capabilities are made possible by a robust, flexible product data structure that allows you to classify, track and monitor your products and items, such as variants, seasonality, and costing, at a detailed level. With inventory management, you can perform physical inventory counts and set up inventory controls that generate inventory transactions against the rules you define, such as available balances, booked balances, lead times, minimum/maximum balances for stocked items, or lead times for non-stocked items. Jeeves Inventory Management helps you minimize inventory carrying costs with tools that allow you to perform ABC-analysis to calculate safety stock, as well as analyze your inventory turnover rate. The warehouse-centric design of the feature lets you track costs and sales histories across a global configuration of warehouses, locations and bins. Inventory also can be tracked by serial number, lot or batch for complete traceability. Valuations can be made based on a number of different methods, such as FIFO, average price, or standard price from preliminary calculations. Advanced Inventory Management features also work in support of, or as a substitute for, your forecasting and planning needs. Proven statistical formulas can help you manage plans for slow-moving or seasonal products, or alert you when forecasts are deviating from demand.

Inventory Replenishment

The Jeeves inventory replenishment feature delivers powerful forecasts that help you predict what customers will buy, as well as automated procurement that produces system-generated purchase orders and transfer orders.

Procurement

The Jeeves Purchasing feature set helps you manage the entire procurement process—from requirement calculations and requisitions to matching deliveries with supplier invoices and producing supplier statistics and evaluations. Jeeves Purchasing is designed to help you manage all types of suppliers, including domestic and international, as well as any number of supplier-specific rules, such as suppliers with another payee, currency and language requirements, or acquisition methods. Purchase prices can be entered manually, or linked to agreements, price lists, or fixed prices. Purchases can be created using a number of different methods, including from purchase agreements, requisitions, customer orders, or net requirements. Jeeves Purchasing can generate suggested delivery dates, based on supplier lead and transport times, to help you plan production and make purchases at the right time. There are also a number of standard forms and reports that allow you to monitor purchasing statistics and supplier performance.

Deliveries

Jeeves ERP supports multiple ways of managing deliveries, from direct dispatch at order entry to a route departure check at order entry, as well as shipment planning on orders or pick deliveries. Pick lists can be made either order by order or by using wave picking and the creation of pick assignments. The system also supports packaging, creation of different freight documents, part deliveries and back orders, joint deliveries, and generation of delivery notes.

Jeeves eSales presents ERP data, such as items, customers, and pricing, on the web for your customers. Product catalogs with prices and stock balances can be accessed, and when a customer creates an order on your portal, it is instantly created in your Jeeves ERP system and followed by an aknowledgement email to the customer.

Business Intelligence (BI) Module
